Training: Together against homophobia and sexism in Europe!
Topics: The major aim is to encourage each other by exchanging different perspectives, approaches and solutions on how to fight discrimination, sexism, trans_homophobia and heteronormativity in the different countries. Besides exchange and networking we will visit organisations and activists in Berlin and get to know their pedagogical and political approach. We will also try out different pedagogical approaches and evaluate, discuss and improve them. Our event is conceived as a training course that means the participants should be imposed to become actively involved and contribute to create the content. Our training course language will be English.
Participants: We expect about 25 adult participants from Poland, Lithuania, Portugal, Austria and Germany. Our target group are LGBTI+ activists, facilitators/ counsultants/ workshop promoters, who work and fight for LGBTI+ rights.
Fees: Almost all cost (accommodation, catering, activities, etc.) are covered by the EU Program “Youth in Action”. The participants just have to pay 30% of their travelling costs themselves.
